Medical Support

All students with a medical need will be identified through their intake information. Any identified needs will be discussed and if necessary, a care plan will be created in consultation with home and health care professionals involved.

School staff also receive regular training to support students with medical conditions and work with specialist colleagues when needed to ensure that student’s medical needs are supported effectively.

Any change to medical needs during the academic year should be reported to the SENCo or the pupils Year Leader.
